Mahesh Landge’s ‘Super Sunday’ ignited campaign momentum in Chikhali-Moshi

In a whirlwind day of community outreach, Mahayuti candidate and current MLA Mahesh Landge strengthened his foothold in the Chikhali-Moshi-Charholi corridor, meeting residents at 18 different locations. Known for championing residents’ causes—most notably securing relief from hefty waste fees—Landge received an outpouring of support from society members, pledging a strong backing for his continued leadership.
Thanks to MLA Mahesh Landge, society residents received relief from a substantial waste user fee introduced during the Mahavikas Aghadi government’s term. The suspension of this fee saved society members an estimated Rs 165 crore rupees. Landge has proactively engaged with builders to resolve issues affecting society residents, ensuring prompt support whenever problems arise. The residents of the Chikhali and Moshi areas affirmed their unwavering support for Landge.
Mahesh Landge, the official candidate for the Mahayuti alliance in Bhosari constituency, held numerous community meetings with residential society representatives in the Chikhali and Moshi areas. Women voters, especially, pledged maximum support to him for his prompt action in addressing their concerns. On Sunday alone, MLA Landge attended 18 meetings, capped off with a public gathering in Sector 12 with Legislative Council member Chitra Wagh, making it a ‘Super Sunday’ for his campaign.
MLA Landge visited Shine City, Blue Dice, Kesar Valley, Ashwram MHADA, Silver Nine, Destination Memoir Society, Mystery Green, Swaraj Phase 3, Mantra Garments Society, Gandharv Excellence Club, Woods Village Phase 2, Indradhanush Society, and Kasturi Voyage, among other societies, meeting residents and discussed their issues. His outreach was met with widespread support from local leaders and Mahayuti supporters.
Relief for housing societies from taxes
Recently, PCMC had imposed a hefty user charge for solid waste management, causing financial strain on residents. However, MLA Mahesh Landge intervened, raised the issue in the legislature and securing a waiver of the 165 crore rupee fee. He also worked with builders to resolve conveyance deed issues and facilitated a water supply of 100 MLD from Andra Dam, alleviating water shortages in the area.
A Development Model in the ‘Chikhali-Moshi-Charholi Residential Corridor’
MLA Landge has championed numerous development initiatives, including an engineering college for local students and a waste-to-energy project in Moshi, which has effectively reduced foul odors from waste depots. He has also enhanced road infrastructure within the development plan, boosting property values in the region. With regular dialogue sessions involving the municipal and police authorities, Landge has ensured consistent problem-solving for residents, who have reaffirmed their support for his efforts.
