BJP’s Strength Has Increased in Pimpri Chinchwad, Uncontested Power Will Return to the Municipal Corporation – Raosahab Danve
Pimpri Chinchwad : Due to the trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the development work carried out by the state’s Mahayuti government, and numerous people-oriented initiatives, the public gave a resounding mandate in the Legislative Assembly elections. In Bhosari, MLA Mahesh Landge was elected for the third time, and in Chinchwad, Shankar Jagtap also won with a large majority. The strength of the BJP in the city has grown compared to before. Hence, in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections, the BJP will once again return to uncontested power, and this is as clear as a white line on a black stone, expressed former Union Minister of State for Railways, Raosaheb Danve.
A felicitation ceremony was held for MLA Mahesh Landge and MLA Shankar Jagtap, in honor of their victories, at the G.D. Madgulkar Auditorium in the Pradhikaran area, where Raosaheb Danve presided over the event. He spoke during the occasion.
Present at the event were Legislative Council member Amit Gorkhe, Youth Wing President Anup More, former MP Amar Sable, Rajesh Pille, Sadashiv Khade, Moreshwar Shedge, Bapu Kate, Kunal Wavhlkar, Namdev Dhake, Vilas Madigeri, Ajay Patade, Sanjay Mangodekar, Shital Shinde, Shaila Molk, Raj Tapkir, Raju Durge, Vijay Phuge, Kailas Kute, Ganesh Langote, and others.
During his speech, Raosaheb Danve mentioned that before the Legislative Assembly elections, the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition had dreamed of victory. They had already decided which leader would get which portfolio, who would become a minister, and who would be sent to jail. But the people were wise, and they gave us their mandate. The opposition is still not ready to accept their defeat. They are now blaming the EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines). They have nothing else to say to the citizens.
Over the past 45 years, we have fought many elections, faced defeat, but we never doubted. Now, when we have won, the opposition is blaming the EVMs for the alleged rigging. When we lost in the Lok Sabha elections, or in Haryana and Karnataka, we never expressed any doubt. The opposition, unable to find a reason for their defeat, is now blaming the EVMs, Danve said.
