Pune: The Maha-Yuti alliance achieved historic success by winning 236 out of 288 constituencies in the state. Among them, BJP made a strong surge by winning the highest number of seats, 132. Mahesh Landge from Bhosari is at the top of the list of elected representatives who received the most votes and won for the third consecutive time. Additionally, Shankar Jagtap, the newly elected representative from Chinchwad, received the highest votes with 2,35,323 votes. Furthermore, Sunil Shelke from Maval secured the fifth position.

In the prestigious Bhosari constituency of Pimpri-Chinchwad, a highly competitive election took place. Several former corporators, including ex-MLA Vilas Lande, who had left the BJP, formed a strong opposition. It was expected that this election would be challenging for MLA Mahesh Landge. However, focusing on the developmental work done over the past 10 years and the future vision, Landge contested the election. In the latter part of the campaign, Hindutva became the central theme, leading Mahesh Landge to win the election.
Mahesh Landge secured the first position in the list of “Top” MLAs elected for the third consecutive time with the highest votes. He received a total of 2,13,624 votes, winning with a margin of 63,765 votes.
