Mumbai: More than half of the Shiv Sena MLAs have raised the flag of rebellion under the leadership of Minister Shinde. This rebel group demands that you leave the Congress-NCP alliance and establish power with the BJP. Against this backdrop, there was talk that Eknath Shinde would set up an independent group of disgruntled MLAs today and meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and hand over a letter of support to the BJP. However, Eknath Shinde himself has rejected the discussion.
“We have not yet decided whether to leave Shiv Sena or meet the governor. More than 40 MLAs who love Balasaheb’s thoughts have come with me. We have clarified our role. We will not cheat for power with the Hindutva ideology of late Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray and Dharmaveer Anand Dighe, ‘said Eknath Shinde.
Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde has been hurt by the party leadership’s decision to remove him from the post of Shiv Sena group leader and has expressed his displeasure. Shinde has questioned why he removed me from the post of group leader when I had not taken any decision to leave Shiv Sena.
