A complaint was lodged with the Khadan police station about the disappearance of a 13-year-old girl from Kailas Hill area of Akola city. According to the complaint, the police started searching for the girl. Investigation teams were formed. According to technical assistance and sources, the girl’s information was obtained. Police came to know that the missing girl was near the Rajasthan-Madhya Pradesh border. After that, the Khadan police immediately reached the spot and arrested the minor girl.
Meanwhile, it was her mother who revealed that the minor girl was insane. Police have registered cases under various sections 363, 366, 377 and 34 against the four, including the birth mother, and three have been arrested while one is absconding. This action has been taken by Assistant Inspector of Police Gopal Dhole, Digambar Arkharao, Vijay Chavan, Ravi Daberao and Rohit Pawar under the guidance of Inspector Shrirang Sanas.

The police investigation revealed that the mother had sold her daughter for only Rs 80,000 for marriage. The mother of the minor girl had initially handed over her daughter to Kailas Ramchandra Ghope (age 28, resident of Manjari, Tal. Balapur, Dist. Akola). After that the girl was taken to Madhya Pradesh with the help of Devibai Kailas Sawale (Rahnar, Akot Fail, Dist. Akola). There he took Rs 80,000 from Mansingh Arjun Singh Chavan (age 40, resident of Jalara, Madhya Pradesh) for marriage and the girl was handed over to him.
Meanwhile, after selling the girl in Madhya Pradesh, she was kept with accused Chavan for 15 days. During this time, she had to endure many things and the police investigation revealed that she was forced to get married after completing 18 years. Has something terrible happened to her now?
