# Covid-19: Rise of new corona patients across the state including Mumbai, three deaths

Mumbai : 4,255 new Corona sufferers diagnosed in the state on Thursday. This includes 2,366 new victims in Mumbai. The state recorded the deaths of three crore victims in a single day. A total of 20 thousand 634 crore affected patients are under treatment.

During the day, 2,879 crore patients in the state have recovered and returned home. A total of 77 lakh 55 thousand 184 crore infected patients have been cured in the state till date. As a result, the cure rate in the state is 97.87 percent. According to a recent report by the Indian Institute of Environmental Engineering Research, Nagpur, two more patients with the BA5 virus subtype have been identified. One of the patients is a 29-year-old man and the other is a 54-year-old woman. He has traveled to Kerala and Mumbai respectively in the last week. Both of them have been vaccinated and both of them have recovered from the disease at home. As a result, the number of BA4 and BA5 infected patients found in the state so far has increased to 19.

As many as 2,366 new tax collectors were found in Mumbai Municipal Corporation on Thursday. As a result, the total number of taxpayers in Mumbai till date has reached 10 lakh 87 thousand 326. In the last 24 hours, a total of three deaths have been reported in Mumbai and one in Raigad, the health department said.

An increase of 934 patients in the district

Thane: The growth of corona patients in the district continued on Thursday. During the day, 934 new patients were registered in the district and the highest number of 361 patients was found in Navi Mumbai city. In Thane, 358 patients were found, 82 in Kalyan-Dombivali, 74 in Mira-Bhayander, 43 in rural Thane, 11 in Badlapur, 3 in Bhiwandi and 2 in Ulhasnagar. Out of 7 lakh 17 thousand 90 patients found in the district till now, 7 lakh 173 patients have become tax free. So far 11 thousand 896 infected patients have been diagnosed. At present 3 thousand 753 patients are undergoing treatment in the district.
