Today, Amit Thackeray along with many environmentalists in the campaign ‘Aapla Samudrak Kinara, Aapta Sarbashi’ cleaned the beach by picking up the remains of Ganesha idols rooted in the sand and Nirmalya at Dadar beach. On this occasion, MNS leader Nitin Sardesai, General Secretary Sandeep Deshpande, President of Maharashtra Navnirman Environment Sena Jai Shringarpure, Party Vice President Yashwant Killedar along with many office bearers, Maharashtra soldiers and college students also participated in the beach cleaning campaign.
This Saturday morning in Mumbai at Girgaon, Dadar, Mahim, Bandra, Juhu, Versova, Aksa, Uran, Versoli, Nagaon, Alibag, Murud in Raigad district; Party officials, numerous citizens and students participated in the beach cleaning campaign conducted by the party at Mandvi in Ratnagiri between 8 am and 10 am. All of them collected the remnants of Ganesha idols and Nirmalya that came to the shore due to the tide of the sea after Ganesha immersion and handed them over to the local administration.
