The premature transfer of former Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishnaprakash is wrong and unjust and has been done only in view of the forthcoming municipal elections. Therefore, on behalf of Republican Yuva Morcha, Kashtakari Panchayat, Bhimshahi Yuva Sanghatana, Rahul Dambale of Republican Yuva Morcha has made a written request (via mail) to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil. This information was given by Dambale at a press conference held at Pimpri. Baba Kamble, leader of Kashtakari Kamgar Panchayat, Shivshankar Ubale, President of Bhimshahi Youth Association, Rafiq Qureshi, Rahul Oval and others were present at the press conference held at Pimpri.
Dambale said that after Pimpri Chinchwad’s former Commissioner of Police Krishna Prakash took over as the Commissioner of Police, he had successfully tried to control crime in Pimpri Chinchwad by taking legal action against organized crime as well as illegal trades and land mafia. He has also set a record of resolving the grievances of more than ten thousand citizens by giving priority to their grievances. Therefore, he became a highly respected officer of the citizens of Pimpri Chinchwad.
However, in view of the forthcoming Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation elections, Krishna Prakash has been prematurely transferred from the post of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner so as not to offend the impartial action of the Commissioner of Police. The people of Pimpri-Chinchwad are in favor of canceling the transfer of Krishna Prakash.
