Aurangabad : ‘Five candidates have been considered for the Legislative Council elections. Opponents have noticed our strategy in Rajya Sabha elections. They will now follow the same path. Therefore, we will go in a different direction and all the BJP candidates will win, ‘claimed Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve. He gave this information while talking to reporters when Danve came to the Divisional Commissionerate for work.
Danve said, “Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis defeated Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena by playing chess in Rajya Sabha elections. BJP will not play the same game now. Now that the Mahavikas Aghadi knows our instincts, they will go their separate ways. So now we’re going to make a different move. Will go a different way. Internal planning is underway and all BJP candidates will win. If NCP leader Eknath Khadse was not given candidature, was there any proposal for unopposed election? Asked about this, Danve said, “No such proposal has reached him. It is a question of who to nominate. We will give some advice for that. This is a ploy to defeat not only Khadse but also NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena.
Asked by reporters about former minister Pankaja Munde’s decision to quit the BJP and form a new party, MP Imtiaz Jalil said, “Everyone is trying to figure out how to get involved in politics.” Pankaja Munde will not respond when MP Jalil says so. That decision was not based on anyone’s words. He said that Pankaja Munde was the national secretary of the party and the party would take proper care of him. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the rally on Wednesday, but Danve said the protesters had taken part in the protest. He said thank you and avoided further comment.
