Aggressive agitation of Pankaja Munde supporters in front of BJP office; Proclamation against Devendra Fadnavis

Aurangabad: Pankaja Munde has once again been ousted by the BJP for not contesting the state assembly elections on June 20. Against this backdrop, Pankaja’s supporters became aggressive and staged an agitation outside the BJP office in Aurangabad. The protesters chanted slogans against BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Devendra Fadnavis and accused him of doing injustice to Pankaja Munde.

The BJP on Wednesday announced the names of five candidates for the Assembly elections. However, Pankaja Munde was not included in the list. Pankaja Munde had indirectly expressed his expectation of candidature saying that he would do a good job if given a chance in the Legislative Council. However, instead of Munde, the BJP leadership showed faith in the BJP candidates from other parties. Against the backdrop of all these developments, outrage is being expressed in various cities by the supporters of Pankaja Munde. Pankaja’s supporters in Aurangabad were seen taking to the streets. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

Pankaja Munde to clarify role after two days?
Discussions have started in the political circles as to whether Pankaja Munde will take a decision to revolt as the BJP is pushing him from time to time. However, Pankaja Munde has so far refrained from commenting and said that he will comment on all these developments in the next two days.
