A building collapsed in Kalyan after crashing in Mumbai, killing one person on the spot

Thane : A four-storey building collapsed in Naik Nagar area of ​​Kurla in Mumbai yesterday and many people were crushed under the pile, killing 17 people. Less than a day after the incident, a high-risk building at Rambagh in Kalyan West collapsed this (Wednesday) morning. Two occupants of the building were seriously injured when the building collapsed. He was rushed to Rukminibai Hospital, Kalyan Dombivali. However, one of them died while undergoing first aid.

There is a building called Koshe which is more than 25 years old in Rambagh division. Residents of the two-story building were evacuated as the building became dangerous. No one lived on the ground floor or the first floor of the building. Suryabhan Kakad (52) and Usha Kakad (49) were living on the second floor of the building. As the building became dangerous, the owner of the building was issued notices from time to time to evict the occupants from the B ward of the municipality, a municipal official said. However, they did not demolish the building and this unfortunate incident occurred. Razzak Sheikh’s house was also damaged when the building collapsed on a nearby house.
