A 9-year-old girl has been raped in the Bihar under Police Station of Unnao on the day of Holi. According to information received, the girl was strangled to death after the rape. When the girl was found unconscious outside the village, there was a panic in the area.
Villagers informed the police on Tuesday evening that they saw the girl lying unconscious 400 meters outside the village. Upon receiving information about this, officers of SP, ASP and several police stations rushed to the spot. She was immediately admitted to the CHC. From there, she was shifted to the district hospital and later to Kanpur. She died while undergoing treatment at Kanpur. According to the father’s complaint, a complaint has been lodged against the accused under other sections, including rape and poxo.
In this case, the SP has constituted a team of four and assigned the responsibility of investigation. Police are investigating several. Due to the incident, police and PAC forces have been deployed after seeing the anger in the villagers. It is being reported that in a village in Bihar Thane area, some citizens went to their homes on the occasion of Holi. Everyone was very happy. The colors were blurring on each other. About three o’clock in the afternoon, the mob reached the house of a former MLA who was a resident of the same village. The 9-year-old daughter was with her father and brother in the group. Everyone was very tired. After telling her father to drink water, the girl went to a roadside hand pump for some distance and then went missing. The investigation started when she did not return for about an hour.
The girl was found unconscious near the edge of the road behind the elementary school on her way to Indemu, about 400 meters from the house. Her clothes were awkward. When the villagers saw this, the villagers told her family. There were also signs of a sore throat on her body. After telling the police about this, they arrived at the scene.
Immediately afterwards the girl was taken to the police station. She was shifted to a hospital in Kanpur after she noticed she was having trouble breathing. She died there during treatment. Three suspected youths have been detained in the case, police said.
