The world-famous philosopher Aristotle said, “Those who think it their right to teach will continue to teach because they are interested in teaching themselves. Children’s freedom will be sacrificed in it. In fact no one has the right to be educated, but children have the right to be educated”. The same principles that Aristotle felt then apply to education today… Education is not a one-way process… It involves governance, governance decisions, administrative systems, teachers, students and parents. But, in all this, the teacher is considered to be the most responsible factor. because He works at the ground level. If we look at our school life, we can see that at that time the teachers used to work hard to get more marks for the children…

Although this is true, if they had kept in touch with the parents as much as possible, the result would have been better. Only the marks obtained in the examination are determining the quality till date. This is wrong. What is an exam? Memorize and write. Who remembers more. The same goes ahead in the exam. That is, there was more emphasis on recitation in this examination system. At that time, good 10th result means good reputation of the school. It was destined. Earlier, parents used to send their children to school, all the rest were done by the teachers. by killing The one who has better understanding will advance in the class. A child with good comprehension was definitely next. But at that time, there were children who were not able to do anything and dropped out of school because they were afraid of being beaten or because I would not be able to do this. This child was thrown out of education forever. It means that just because you got good marks in the written exam, you won’t qualify. Therefore, the definition of quality in our mind should be changed. Sachin Tendulkar was not brilliant in school studies. But the quality he possessed was the sport. Such quality should be recognized by every parent and teacher. Only then will our expectations from our children be fulfilled. Don’t make kids race. If we focus on what qualities our children have, they will become tomorrow’s singers, poets, writers, doctors, engineers, athletes, scientists and much more. We say India is never ahead in Olympics. But everyone should think why not. Even if one’s child is good at sports, his parents do not motivate him. He should stay ahead only in studies. With this expectation, today we are making our children only and only good competitors. That is why many questions are being raised.
Education is not something to be imposed by force.. Children do not learn because someone imposes them. To say that children learn because I teach is to miss the meaning of the learning process. If you say that the children have learned because of me, I should also accept the responsibility for the children who have not learned. Education is not a matter of conscious teaching at all. The path of education is creative. Education is about bringing out what is inside each child and blossoming. Therefore, for the path of education, there is a need to see and sow the land. The crop grows more vigorously in hard soil and if it is sown on poor soil, the crop is not likely to flourish. Therefore, it should be noted that the fault of the crop not ripening is not the fault of the soil, but rather that the crops were not selected by looking at the soil. If the crop is sown by looking at the land, there is more chance of a good crop in both places. Therefore, there is a need to think carefully in terms of education as well. Education is based on the spirit of freedom and ideology. For that it is important to create a share of creativity.
The world-famous philosopher Aristotle said, “Those who think it their right to teach will continue to teach because they are interested in teaching themselves. Children’s freedom will be sacrificed in it. In fact, no one has the right to be educated, but children have the right to be educated”. The same principle that Aristotle felt at that time is still applicable to education today. Teaching is not about imposing something on anyone. The urge to learn is hidden in every child. Then she doesn’t let Urmi sit still. It gives the power to break new ground. If we impose something on someone, the joy in it is lost. Learning is unlikely when anything is forced. Compulsion in any form does not translate into quality. So to say that we have become teachers to teach children is to undermine the basic concept of education. Therefore, if one teaches as a right in the learning process, it is a journey in the wrong direction. If you teach because you love to teach, that’s part of the fun, but where is the fun for the students? This is the question.
It is important to create a way that learning can bring joy. So the teacher will continue to teach for his pleasure but it will be a compulsion to learn. But children should be aware that they are losing their freedom for their happiness. Once abroad, the niece of a head of state was trying to become a teacher. He had acquired academic and professional qualifications to become a teacher. Even after that she was experimenting with education. He submitted his application after being advertised as a teacher. She was known to be very intelligent. Scores were also good throughout the academic journey. After his application, the National Selection Committee called him for an interview. He was interviewed and rejected by the selection committee. He was not selected. Actually the interview went well. He was expected to be selected.
A teacher who delights in his own pleasure will seek only his own pleasure, and the children will fear happiness. Education, then, is for children, and in that process it is important to get to know them and continue their pursuit of happiness. We rejected them because the child is important at the center of education and not the self. The President was also surprised to hear this. It will be seen how narrowly the world is thinking about education. Therefore, teacher training should involve experimentation and the process of discovering what is hidden within children rather than teaching. Currently schools are practicing constructivism. If the teacher formation process reflects behaviourist thinking, how will the Right to Education Act bring about change? This is the question. There is not much thought about understanding the child, knowing how the child learns, knowing the process for it. Therefore, classroom teaching continues.
Efforts should be made to bring out what is inside the children and connect them with the content of the books. But we say teaching only to convey the content of the book. Does it really have a relationship with the child while delivering it? It should be considered. Education is not a process of persuasion from a book, but a firm belief that learners have the ability to shape their own lives and strive accordingly. But what is in the book? To say this, to keep striving for it is not education. Basically, children have some prior experience when they reach the content of the book. It is important to know about that journey and reach the point. Often there is a process of imposing the principles on the student rather than a process to learn them and the journey is not made. So learning doesn’t happen.
We need to think about the needs and abilities of the children and motivate them to learn on their own, rather than keeping something in the head for the sake of education. Education is not only about teaching but also about giving them the environment to learn. It is to create opportunities for that. The more opportunities there are, the greater the learning. As you learn, the more mistakes you make, the more solid and long-lasting your learning becomes. So children learn by doing. Learning lasts a lifetime as much as one learns by himself and what is learned by imposition is only thought of marks. Once the exams are done and the year is over, the learning is also erased. So rather than trying to force someone to learn, let’s help them learn. That means that the path of education of those students will be a bright path, from which they will be enlightened. After all, education is good only if we continue to follow the path of those who have done basic thinking about education. So Kahlil Gibran said that man does not go to two places by himself.. One of them is prison and the other is school.. So if we continue to experiment, school will be minus the place and becoming it will be a journey of education…
