Under PM Modi’s guidance, Home Minister showed courage to remove Article 370 from Kashmir: Eknath Shinde asserts

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that Prime Minister and Home Minister have shown the courage to remove Article 370 from Kashmir. Attendees appreciated the speech given by the Chief Minister at the program held in Hyderabad yesterday on the occasion of Hyderabad Liberation Movement. Hailing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chief Minister Shinde started his speech in Marathi and wished everyone on Hyderabad Mukti Sangram Day, at which time there was a thunderous applause at the parade ground here.

After concluding the Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day program in Aurangabad yesterday morning, the Chief Minister reached Hyderabad and participated in the Hyderabad Mukti Sangram Day program organized by Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was a major presence in this program.

Initially, the cultural programs of all the three states of Maharashtra, Telangana and Karnataka won the hearts of the viewers. Especially the Dhol Tasha troupes of Maharashtra created vitality in the atmosphere. On this occasion, Adilabad troupes performed Lambadi as well as Gusadi, Chidutalu, Kolatam. The Karnataka team played the Dola Kunitha Band. Army troops, NCC students also conducted the parade and won applause.

Referring to the fact that the then Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel took action against the Nizam in 1948 and merged the state of Hyderabad with independence, the Chief Minister said that the current Home Minister Amit Shah has also shown the courage to remove Article 370 from Kashmir under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister in his short speech said that after becoming the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, my first program was the nationwide Har Ghar Tricolor campaign. We made this campaign successful by hoisting the tricolor on two and a half crore houses in the state. Today, for the first time in the country, the central government has made a great effort to bring this liberation struggle to the new generation by starting the Hyderabad state liberation struggle and we are proud of it. Hyderabad Mukti Sangram Day is celebrated in Marathwada as Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day. The Chief Minister also said that the fight given by freedom fighters like Swami Ramanand Theerth is still an inspiration for all of us.

Hyderabad Mukti Sangram is the day to get rid of the cruel ruler like Nizam. The Chief Minister also said in his speech that this day is to pay homage to Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
