Nagpur: Monsoon has started in Vidarbha along with other parts of the state. The regional meteorological department said that the monsoon entered Vidarbha via Chandrapur on Thursday. According to a map released by the Central Meteorological Department, the monsoon had not even reached Odisha till Wednesday. However, in the last 24 hours, the monsoon has hit hard.
The intermittent monsoon had slowed down. Now the monsoon has picked up speed. The monsoon is expected to reach Gondia by Thursday evening. Therefore, it is clear that monsoon has entered East Vidarbha via Chandrapur. Also, monsoon has started in West Vidarbha via Buldhana Amravati. The entire Vidarbha monsoon is expected to be covered by this weekend.

The meteorological department has warned of heavy rains in the next five days. Accordingly, heavy rains lashed many parts of the state this morning. In the state, Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Yavatmal, Hingoli, Chandrapur, Gondia have received good rainfall. Due to this rain, there is an atmosphere of happiness among the farmers. Also, agriculture has gained momentum. In fact, after Sunday, the rains in the state took a break. But now the rains will be active again, according to the meteorological department.
