Shocking! Wedding four months ago, in-laws persecuted for dowry, bride commits suicide by jumping from sixth floor
Aurangabad: Less than four months after the marriage began, a married woman committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of a building after being harassed by her father-in-law. The shocking incident took place in Kanchanwadi area of Aurangabad. The accused husband has been arrested by the police on charges of dowry and incitement to suicide against the three, including his mother-in-law and father-in-law.
The deceased was identified as Ashwini Kunal Dehade (19). The arrested husband’s name is Kunal Vikram Dehade (age 20, resident of Flat No. 21, Sainik Vihar Apartment, Valmi Naka, Kanchanwadi). Father-in-law Vikram Dehade and mother-in-law Maya Dehade are both absconding.
Married four months ago
Ashwini was married in February. Initially, the in-laws treated him well for two months. However, after that, they demanded Rs 15 lakh from Maher to buy a house. Ashwini’s father had come home on Tuesday as there was a constant argument over this. While the two families were discussing, Ashwini closed the bedroom door and jumped out of the gallery. She died in it. A case has been registered against the husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law at Satara police station. The husband has been arrested.
