Shocking: In Mumbai, 2 women, 4 minors together beat a man with sticks

Mumbai: Tilak Nagar police have arrested two women on charges of murder and detained four minors. On Wednesday afternoon, the six men allegedly broke into the house of a 51-year-old man in Chembur and beat him with a bamboo stick for protesting against his friendship with his niece.

According to the information received, the victim was alone in the house. The accused then attacked. He died at the hospital on Friday. The incident has caused a stir in the area and a police investigation is underway. The two women, aged 45 and 41, were produced in court and remanded in police custody till June 6, while four minors were sent to a hill station.

Police said Mayat Prakash Waghmare and other family members did not like the friendship of their 16-year-old niece with one of the minor accused. The girl befriended a boy (16) from Govandi on Instagram and started dating him. However, the girl’s family did not like it and told her not to visit the boy and his friends.

Angered by this, the accused planned to kill Prakash. Due to this incident, there is an atmosphere of fear in the entire area. Police are currently investigating the matter. It is learned that his niece will also be questioned.
