An unfortunate incident has taken place in Lakhni town of Bhandara district where a young woman, who was disappointed with not getting the expected marks in the Class XII examination, committed suicide by consuming a poisonous powder (powder) applied to rice. The whole city is in an uproar and police are investigating. According to the information received, 17-year-old Mayuri Kishor Vanjari Ra. The deceased was identified as Lakhni, who died during treatment due to high levels of toxins in her body. Mayuri was a student of Samarth College, Lakhni. Mayuri was looking forward to becoming a future support for her parents.

Mayuri studied at home without teaching and took the exam. She was curious about the outcome. The result was declared yesterday afternoon and she got only 55% marks. She was devastated. She decided to end it all because of the negative thoughts that she could do for her parents. When she got home, she used the medicine (powder) used to keep the rice at home. As soon as the family came to know about this, they rushed Mayuri to a rural hospital in Lakhni. However, as her condition was critical, she was shifted to District General Hospital, Bhandara for further treatment. However, she died at Bhandara General Hospital during treatment. Meanwhile, after getting information about the incident, Lakhni police reached the spot and conducted a panchnama.
