Increase in CNG rates in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad

Pune | Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited has decided to increase the price of CNG in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad by Rs. Therefore, drivers will have to pay Rs 82 per kg of CNG after midnight on Wednesday (Dec. 8). This is the third increase in CNG prices in the last few months. Demand for CNG continues to rise, but CNG prices continue to rise due to shortage of domestic gas and rising cost of imported gas. In Pune, the price of CNG was Rs 62.20 in April. It is constantly increasing. The rates were raised three times in April.

In Pune, the price of CNG was Rs 77.20 at midnight on April 28. After that, at midnight on May 20, it was again increased by two rupees. Now it has been decided to increase the price by two rupees again from midnight on Wednesday (Dec. 8). Therefore, from midnight on Wednesday, drivers in Pune will have to pay Rs 82 for CNG. MNGL supplies CNG and PNG to Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Chakan, Talegaon and Hinjewadi. MNGL has 108 CNG pumps in Pune area. CNG and PNG are supplied by Mumbai Mahanagar Gas Limited.
