#RainAlert: Rain warning in 48 hours in Maharashtra, alert to ‘these’ districts from meteorological department

Mumbai: Rains are present everywhere in the state at present. Due to torrential rains in many districts, rivers and streams are overflowing. In some places, Baliraja is dry due to rains, while in some places, there is a crisis of double sowing. The state has once again issued a Heavy Rainfall Alert for the state. The IMD has warned of torrential rains across the state for the next 48 hours.

The next few days are rainy in the state and alerts have been issued to several districts. According to the meteorological department, torrential rains are likely in Konkan. An orange alert has been issued in Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg district for the next two days from today. Kolhapur and Satara districts have also been warned of heavy rains in the next 24 hours. As a result, citizens have to go out of their houses to forecast the weather and farmers have also been instructed to take care of their crops.

Meanwhile, the meteorological department has warned of heavy rains in Ahmednagar, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli and Nanded districts. It is forecast to rain in some places and sparsely in others. In fact, Ahmednagar in the state, Shirdi, Nashik and Satar districts received cloudburst rain. As a result, rivers and streams have overflowed and water has also infiltrated into farmers’ fields. The torrential rains have also affected the people. Therefore, citizens have been instructed to stay safe.
