NCP’s only aspiring candidate in the fray against Mahavikas Aghadi?

Development in Chikhali will ‘move’ on Sane Municipal Corporation
Aggressive against water cuts, aggressive role against commissioners

Pimpri. Special Representative
Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is in charge of administration. Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil is Sarvesarva. Mahavikas Aghadi is in power in the state. As per the instructions of the state government, the work of NMC is in progress at present. In spite of this, the aspiring candidates of NCP are going to ‘move’ on the Municipal Corporation. So the city’s political circles are expressing surprise.
Vikas Sane, a social activist from Chikhali and a potential NCP candidate, has planned a pot morcha agitation against the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s oppressive water cut. The municipal administration will now be woken up by the Chikhalikars to get their rightful water. For this, Sane staged a protest on Friday.
Water supply is on in Pimpri-Chinchwad during the day. There is water scarcity in some parts. As a result, there is a growing resentment among citizens against the administration. Taking full advantage of this, agitation-statements and ‘fars’ of meetings are being started by the aspirants on the backdrop of the forthcoming municipal elections. Vikas Sane, who works in the social sector, has already taken an agitating role for roads, water and infrastructure. Vikas Sane, who is known as a public servant who fights with the administration for the people. Dattakaka is close to Sane. Therefore, Sane’s ticket in the forthcoming elections is considered ‘confirmed’ by the NCP.
However, the agitation against the administration and the ruling party while the NCP was against it can be considered justified. However, if the NCP’s aspirants take an agitating stand against the administration regarding water cuts or problems, then the NCP will have to be called a ‘household food’. As a result, the possibility of confusion among the workers of other constituent parties of the Mahavikas Alliance, including the NCP, cannot be ruled out.
Ajit Pawar is the Deputy Chief Minister of Pune. One day a week, self helpers from the Deputy Chief Minister’s office are stationed at the party office to solve local problems in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Vikas Sane could have successfully pursued the issue of water cut directly through Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Immediate action could have been taken by holding a meeting of the Commissioner and the concerned officers. In particular, the NCP could have taken credit for solving this problem. However, development efforts are likely to be hampered by stunt-fighting efforts.
Is Ajit Gawhane lacking coordination?
The aspiring candidate of NCP raises direct agitation against the municipal administration i.e. against the administrator of Mahavikas Aghadi. The administration, of course, acts indirectly against the state government. As the mayor, Ajit Gawhane is not interfering in this. On the other hand, on the post of Vikas Sane’s Handa Morcha movement, photos of prominent leaders of the state and district are displayed. Municipalities are stunted by taking out a morcha against the administration. As the head of the city association, he is not taking any action in this regard. In particular, Fazal Sheikh was appointed as the city executive by Ajit Pawar himself. Even then, Ajit Gawhane was not present as the city president. Does this mean that there is a lack of coordination between activists and office bearers? Such a question has arisen.
NCP’s farce in the face of elections ..?
The Bharatiya Janata Party defeated the Nationalist Congress Party in the 2017 general elections. The NCP, which has been in power for 20 years, had to sit on the opposition benches. In a span of five years, Yogesh Behl, late. Dattakaka Sane, Vitthal alias Nana Kate, Raju Misal and others acted as Leader of the Opposition. However, with the exception of Dattakaka Sane, no opposition leader has slammed the then ruling BJP. Now, with the election looming, the local NCP is trying to ignite issues like water, garbage, roads and corruption. So are local office bearers and aspiring candidates staging agitation in the face of elections? Such a question arises.
