President Draupadi Murmu today awarded the ‘National Teacher Awards 2022’ to three teachers from Maharashtra for their outstanding work in the field of education. In this, Kavita Sanghvi, principal of Chatrabhuj Narsi Memorial School, Mumbai, Shashikant Kulthe, assistant teacher of Zilla Parishad Primary School, Damu Naik Tanda, Gevrai taluka, Beed district, and Somnath Walke, teacher of Zilla Parishad, Cluster Primary School, Pargaon Jogeshwari in the same district, were honored with the ‘National Teacher Award’. came

On the occasion of ‘National Teacher’s Day’, a ‘National Teacher Award’ distribution ceremony was organized by the Union Ministry of Education at Vigyan Bhavan here. On this occasion President, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of State for School Education Annapurna Devi, Dr. Subhash Sarkar, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Additional Chief Secretary (Higher and Technical Education) Rakesh Ranjan, along with senior officials were present on the stage. On this occasion, a total of 45 teachers from across the country were honored with the ‘National Teacher Award’. Three teachers from the state are included in this. The award is in the form of a badge of honor and a citation.
