Maval Lok Sabha MP Shrirang Barne has finally hit the Shiv Sena. With the help of BJP, the way to achieve a hat-trick again in 2024 from Maval has been made easier while the upcoming political movement is getting stronger. In 2014, former MP Gajanan Babar was fielded from Maval Lok Sabha constituency and Barne was nominated from Shiv Sena. Also, in 2019 also, the party gave him a ticket and built strength behind him, so he could win a second term as an MP. The Lok Sabha elections were contested by the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance. Chinchwad’s BJP MLA Laxman Jagtap put political animosity aside and supported Barne as per the party mandate. As a result, Baranes got a huge majority from Pimpri-Chinchwad. Barne defeated Parth Pawar from the Pawar family by a huge margin.

Ajit Pawar remained the Deputy Chief Minister. MP Barne has received an indication that Maval Constituency will have to be left for Partha Pawar for the words of Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar. Now, in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, if the Mahavikas Aghadi gets a ticket, the political process will be in crisis, so Barne achieved perfect ‘timing’. It is certain that Shiv Sena (Shinde group) and BJP will fight the upcoming elections together. Therefore, the candidature of Barane from Maval has been confirmed, and the way to go to Parliament for the third time will be paved.
