Consumer Praveen Ramesh Kamble has died in a beating by a Vadapav seller and his accomplices. Kamble had gone to Navnagapur on a Vadapav vehicle to collect Vadapav. The seller stated that the price of a vadapav was Rs. Kamble demanded fifteen rupees. The controversy escalated. Both of them came to Hamratumari. There were insults and pushbacks.

He died while undergoing treatment there. Police have registered a case of murder following a complaint lodged by Praveen Kamble’s mother. Four accused have been arrested in the case. Assistant Inspector of Police Yuvraj Athare said that police squads have been dispatched to search for the other accused.
