When will Ganeshotsav start…

This year this holy festival is starting from next Wednesday i.e. 31st August, which is considered very auspicious for the worship of Lord Ganesha.

Auspicious time of Ganesh Chaturthi
According to Panchanga, the holy Chaturthi of the month of Bhadrapada, showering Ganesha’s grace, will start on 30th August 2022 from 03:33 PM and will last till 03:22 PM on 31st August 2022. In such a situation, the holy fast and pooja of Ganesh Chaturthi will be observed on 31st August 2022 based on the date.

When to worship Ganesh Chaturthi?
According to mythological belief, Lord Ganesha was born in the afternoon, so worshiping Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi is considered very auspicious and fruitful. According to Panchang, the best time to worship Lord Ganesha is between 11:05 am to 01:38 pm on 31 August 2022.

How to worship Ganesh Chaturthi
On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, in the morning, take a bath and meditate, first of all do a fast to Ganesha and then in the mid-afternoon, by wearing a red cloth or sitting on a mat, you should establish Ganesha. After this one should offer Ganpati Atharvashirsha or Ganesha Chalisa by offering durva, flowers, fruits, Akshat, betel nuts, betel nut etc. to Ganapati and offering Bappa’s favorite food i.e. Modak. Finally, after performing the aarti of Ganesha, distribute the prasad to as many people as possible and consume it yourself.

Then don’t forget to do moon darshan
There is no moon sighting on Ganesh Chaturthi. It is believed that if the moon is seen on this day, there is a risk of stigma or all kinds of false accusations in the future, so do not forget to see the moon on this day.
