Expenditure of Rs. 84,000 for additional Municipal Commissioner’s chair; Waste continues even in the administrative regime
Pimpri: As the tenure of the people’s representatives in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has come to an end, the administration has taken over the administration. Sofas and chairs will be procured for seating arrangements in the additional commissioner’s room in the municipal main building. It will cost Rs 1 lakh 87 thousand for three sofas and Rs 84 thousand for one chair for a total of Rs 2 lakh 71 thousand. These costs have been approved administratively.
The corporation has three additional commissioners. Vikas Dhakne, Jitendra Wagh and Ulhas Jagtap are overseeing the work. Dhakne and Wagh are on government deputation. Jagtap, on the other hand, is in charge of additional commissioners according to his seniority.
Meeting arrangements will be changed
Additional Commissioner Dhakne’s meeting room will be changed. For this a new chair, sofaset will be purchased. Three new sofasets will be taken in Dhakne’s room. One seat worth Rs 49,000, two seats worth Rs 62,000 and three-seat sofas worth Rs 75,000 will be purchased. An executive chair will also be provided for the lid. It is priced at Rs 84,000. Accordingly, three sofas and one chair will cost a total of Rs 2 lakh 71 thousand.
