BJP’s ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Workshop’ Held in Pimpri-Chinchwad
Pimpri Chinchwad | In view of the upcoming municipal elections, BJP State General Secretary Rajesh Pandey emphasized the need to effectively communicate the achievements of the central government’s public welfare schemes such as “Sankalp Se Siddhi” campaign, construction of permanent housing for 4 crore people over the past 11 years, “Har Ghar Jal” scheme, and the Ayushman Bharat initiative. He urged party workers to raise awareness among citizens to achieve the vision of a developed India by 2047.
The “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha and District Workshop” was organized at Govind Garden Banquet Hall in Pimple Saudagar, Pimpri-Chinchwad. While guiding the party functionaries, Pandey stressed that the central government’s developmental achievements should reach the voters effectively.
The workshop was part of the “Sankalp Se Siddhi” campaign, launched by the BJP across the country to mark the completion of 11 years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The event featured guidance from District In-Charge Varsha Dahale, BJP City President Shatrughan (Bapu) Kate, MLAs Shankar Jagtap, Mahesh Landge, Amit Gorkhe, former MLA Ashwini Jagtap, and former PCMC Chairman Sadashiv Khade.
Other notable attendees included State Member Moreshwar Shedge, Former Mayor Usha alias Mai Dhore, Nitin Kalje, Rahul Jadhav, General Secretary Sanjay Mangodekar, Vilas Madegiri, Ajay Patade, Sheetal Shinde, Mahesh Kulkarni, South Zone President Rajesh Pille, Kaluram Barne, Santosh Kalate, Mauli Thorat, Raju Durge, Women’s Wing President Sujata Palande, Youth Wing President Raj Tapkir, Vikas Dolas, Mandal President Ganesh Dhore, Somnath Tapkir, Sunny Barne, Harshal Dhore, Mohan Raut, Jaydeep Khapre, Mangesh Dhadge, Dharam Waghmare, Anita Valunjkar, Shivraj Landge, Amol Dolas, Ajit Burde, Ramdas Kute, Yogesh Sonawane, along with assembly election heads, corporators, district office-bearers, leaders from various cells and morchas, mandal officials, and interested party workers.
BJP City President Shatrughan Kate guided the workers in detail on how to effectively promote government schemes. He stated that exhibitions, interactive sessions, and workshops are being held at the district level from June 10 to 12 under the Sankalp Se Siddhi campaign. Additionally, programs are scheduled at various locations on June 16, 17, and 18. A special campaign titled “One Tree for the Motherland” was launched on June 5, and a series of yoga sessions will be held from June 17 to 20 in view of International Yoga Day on June 21. Nationwide awareness programs will also be held on June 25, to mark the anniversary of the Emergency imposed in 1975.
MLA Shankar Jagtap, highlighting various welfare schemes of the central government, encouraged party workers to reach out to eligible beneficiaries and assist with registrations. He said, “We must win the upcoming elections with full strength. These 11 years of Modi government have been about service, good governance, and welfare of the poor.” He added that the Modi government has given a new direction to the country’s development over the past 11 years with unprecedented progress in sectors like roads, factories, and solar energy. He stressed the importance of reaching out to citizens with these achievements in light of the upcoming municipal elections.
MLA Mahesh Landge emphasized that as per the government’s motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, workers must ensure the benefits of schemes reach the last section of society. He underlined the importance of organizational development and public outreach, guiding workers on how to engage with citizens and involve them in the development process through government initiatives.
MLA Amit Gorkhe stated, “Over the past 11 years, the Modi-led government has provided a new direction to the country’s development. Whether it’s the revolution in infrastructure like roads, railways, airports or the upliftment of common people through schemes like Jan Dhan and Ayushman Bharat—unprecedented progress has been achieved in all areas. Concepts like ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India) and ‘Make in India’ have positioned India as a strong global economic force, which fills us with pride.”
District In-Charge Varsha Dahale noted that the development under Prime Minister Modi’s 11-year tenure is not just in numbers but has brought real, positive changes in the lives of millions. Schemes like Har Ghar Jal have delivered essential services even to rural areas, and the Mudra Yojana has empowered lakhs of youth and women to stand on their own feet. She said Digital India has brought transparency to administration.
The program was inaugurated by Sanjay Mangodekar, hosted by Moreshwar Shedge, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Vikas Dolas.
