Officers should be created who dedicate their lives for the service of the country – Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari

Pune: Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari hoped that there would be a capable and dutiful officer who would dedicate his life for the service of the country keeping in view the ideal personality of the country. He was speaking at the inaugural function of the SPARC Competitive Examination Guidance Center and Study jointly launched by the Shri Mukund Bhavan Trust and Vivek Vyaspeeth for students preparing for the Central and State Public Service Commission competitive examinations. Adviser to the Chief Minister Dr. Deepak Mhaisekar, former Chartered Officer Praveen Dixit, President of Hindustan Prakashan Sanstha Ramesh Patange, Director of Spark Competitive Examination Guidance Center Dhananjay Kale, Director of Shri Mukund Bhavan Trust Purushottam Lohia, Acting Director of Guidance Center Mahesh Pohnerkar were present.

Governor Shri. Koshyari said people are working in various fields for national service. Dutiful and hardworking people are needed to build a great India. Recognizing this need, SPARC Academy has been started with the objective of preparing students from economically weaker, neglected sections of the society for national service. Students who are preparing for the competitive examinations of the Central and State Public Service Commissions should prepare well and strive for success. About one lakh students in the country are preparing to pass the Indian Administrative, Police Service Examination. Out of which about 800 students were selected. The rest of the students should not be disappointed. The preparation done for your administrative service and this experience should be used for the benefit of the society. He hoped that the students would work hard till their last breath for the service of the country as per the name of SPARC and in the next four to five years more and more officers would be formed from here.

Former Director General of Police Shri. Dixit said that chartered officers are working for the progress of the country. He has dedicated his entire life for the country. The guidance center has been set up to provide free competitive examination training to budding students from all walks of life. He appealed to the students to study hard and strive to become officers. Director Mr. Lohia said, Mr. Mukund Bhavan Trust is contributing by participating in various social activities. Food was donated to poor citizens during the Corona period. Devotees have been provided accommodation at Alandi, Pandharpur, Paithan etc. He said that needy students are being helped for education.
