MNS president Raj Thackeray has taken an aggressive stance against the noise on mosques. At a public meeting in Aurangabad, Raj Thackeray gave an ultimatum to the state government to lower the horns. Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil reviewed the situation today and gave instructions to the police force. A case has been registered against Raj in Aurangabad for making provocative remarks. At the same time, preventive measures are being taken in the state. Notices have been issued to several MNS leaders and office bearers. Against this backdrop, the police have taken the first step of arresting MNS Chandivali division president Mahendra Bhanushali in Mumbai.

Raj Thackeray was the first to raise the issue of bongs at the Gudipadva meet. He was arrested by the police from Barvenagar cemetery today. A large number of loudspeakers were also seized from Bhanushali’s office in Chandivali.

Meanwhile, the repercussions of the ‘Raj Sabha’ in Aurangabad are beginning to reverberate. State police are on alert mode. Action is also likely to be taken against Raj. That is why the main leaders of MNS have started going underground. Bala Nandgaonkar, Sandeep Deshpande, Nitin Sardesai and Santosh Dhuri are said to be on the radar of the police.
