Former MP Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil expelled from Shiv Sena

Pimpri: Shiv Sena deputy leader and former Shirur Lok Sabha MP Shivajirao Adlrao Patil has been expelled from the party. Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil has been expelled from the party on the orders of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, accusing him of taking anti-party actions. This information has been given by removing the press release from the Shiv Sena central office.

Who is Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil?

Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil is considered to be a great leader of Shiv Sena. He has played a major role in the growth of Shiv Sena in Pune district. He had won the Shiv Sena ticket from Shirur Lok Sabha constituency in 2004. He also won the 2009 and 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Patil represented Shirur Lok Sabha constituency for 15 years. He has also received the Parliamentary Ratna Award for his performance in Parliament as an MP from Shirur Lok Sabha constituency. However, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, NCP candidate actor Amol Kolhe defeated Adhalrao Patil. This defeat was considered a big shock for Adhalrao Patil.
