Extremely hot weather warning for the next 5 days

The heat wave has hit the state and the citizens of Nashik and Malegaon had to face severe heat on Wednesday as the temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature of 45.1 degrees Celsius was recorded in Brahmapuri on Wednesday. In Marathwada, the maximum temperature in Aurangabad was 42.1 degrees. As the temperature in Mumbai also went up to 37 degrees, the citizens were disturbed by the heat wave. Due to the scorching sun, the streets were dry in the afternoon.
Except Mumbai, the rest of the Konkan region did not see much rise in temperature. However, the maximum temperature in the state has been recorded above 40 degrees Celsius. The mercury was below 40 degrees at Kolhapur and Mahabaleshwar. However, in Nashik, Malegaon, Pune, Lohgaon, Malegaon, Sangli, Satara, Solapur, as well as Aurangabad, Parbhani, Nanded and Vidarbha, the temperature was above 40 degrees. The highest temperature of 45.1 degrees Celsius was recorded at Brahmapuri. The maximum temperature was recorded at 45 degrees Celsius in Wardha and 44.8 degrees Celsius in Akola and Nagpur. After Brahmapuri, the mercury rose to 45 degrees Celsius in Wardha and 44.8 degrees Celsius in Akola and Nagpur. In Khandesh, Jalgaon district also experienced severe heat wave. The temperature in Jalgaon has gone up to 44 degrees.
