Attack on a friend who mediates a quarrel with a lover; Sixth murder in 13 days in Nashik

Nashik: Another youth has been killed in a minor altercation in the city. A youth was attacked with a sharp weapon at Bharatnagar in the middle of Mumbai Naka police station at midnight. The youth died on the spot in the attack. The deceased was identified as Sagar Prakash Rawatar (20). This is the sixth murder in Nashik in the last 13 days.
According to police, the accused Bhoye was having an affair with a girl named Korade. Sagar Rawatar always used to mediate in their disputes. That is why Sagar was attacked at Bharat Nagar at midnight on Saturday. He died on the spot in the attack. The suspects Bharat Bhoye, Gautam Bhoye and Ganesh Bhoye have been arrested by the Mumbai Naka Police. Meanwhile, Special Inspector General of Police B.S. G. Shekhar went to the spot and inspected it. As Commissioner of Police Jayant Naikan is on leave, B. G. Shekhar reached the spot. The matter is being further investigated by the police.
