Ajit Pawar Promises to Make Baramati Number One in the Country
Civil felicitations from Baramatikars

Baramati:-Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has assured that Baramati will be ranked number one in the country during his eighth term. He expressed that the overwhelming support of over one lakh votes from Baramati citizens has increased his responsibility, and he is committed to bringing significant development to the region.
Speaking at a civic felicitation ceremony organized by the NCP in Baramati, Pawar thanked the people for their support and discussed the challenges the Mahayuti alliance faced during the Lok Sabha elections. He emphasized that, instead of blaming EVMs, they worked with renewed vigor and presented a vision for the region. He credited the success of the assembly elections to this hard work and the significant contribution of his sister, Supriya Sule.
Pawar also addressed the criticism of EVMs by the opposition Mahavikas Aghadi, stating that the Supreme Court had already clarified that questioning EVMs was inappropriate. He accused the opposition of conducting protests simply to please their workers.
With the responsibility of Baramati’s development on his shoulders, Pawar pledged to ensure the region’s growth. He mentioned that he holds the Finance and Excise portfolios in the cabinet, and will ensure these departments serve the people effectively. He also promised to meet public expectations while maintaining fiscal discipline during the upcoming state budget presentation on March 3.
Pawar also responded to allegations of corruption and misuse of power in Baramati, asking those involved in such practices to cease their actions and prioritize transparency.
He affirmed that, despite being part of the Mahayuti alliance, his party would not abandon its core ideology and would continue to work in line with the values of great leaders. Pawar committed to working with integrity and making Baramati the leading city in India by attracting major projects and investments.
