“A Ray of Hope for IT Professionals in Hinjawadi IT Park”
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to Hold Review Meeting

BJP MLA Mahesh Landge Takes Initiative
Pimpri-Chinchwad | Representative
The state government is now taking proactive steps to address the persistent issues plaguing the Hinjawadi IT Park, an international-grade tech hub located within the limits of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. Following directives from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, a crucial meeting will be convened with representatives from the IT Forum, Society Federation, voluntary organizations, and senior officials from concerned departments.
This year, the Hinjawadi IT Park was virtually transformed into a “water park” during the very first rains. Traffic congestion, inadequate infrastructure, and power outages have left IT professionals and company executives in the park utterly frustrated. In response, the “Unlog Hinjawadi” signature campaign was launched through the IT Forum and Society Federation, garnering support from nearly 30,000 IT professionals.
Momentum for Road in Forest Department Area at Mouje Dudulgaon
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Mahesh Landge had demanded a comprehensive review meeting in the presence of CM Fadnavis, involving officials from MIDC, Zilla Parishad, PMRDA, Municipal Corporation, National Highway Authority, and representatives from the IT Forum and Society Federation. Accordingly, a meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, 10th July, at 2 PM in the Cabinet Hall, Vidhan Bhavan. IT professionals and federation representatives will have the opportunity to present their concerns, with key public representatives also in attendance.
Over 5 lakh IT employees and professionals commute daily to Hinjawadi IT Park from Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, leading to severe traffic bottlenecks. Additionally, poor coordination among agencies like MIDC, Zilla Parishad, PMRDA, Municipal Corporation, and National Highway Authority has exacerbated infrastructure deficiencies. Despite being an international-class IT park, the lack of basic amenities tarnishes the city’s global image. There is a growing demand for CM Fadnavis to draft an “action plan” to resolve these issues. Stakeholders are optimistic that the upcoming meeting will yield concrete decisions.
