Fazal Sheikh has been appointed as the working president of Pimpri Chinchwad city NCP. He has been appointed considering the work experience of the party organization. State Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was met by Pimpri Chinchwad city NCP office bearers on Thursday in the presence of city president Ajit Gavhane. Fazal Sheikh was appointed at that time. NCP’s Maharashtra Youth State President Mehboob Sheikh, Shivajirao Garje, former Mayor, City President Sanjogbhau Waghere-Patil, former Leader of Opposition Raju Misal were present on this occasion.
Fazal Sheikh has acted as the city spokesperson of the Nationalist Congress Party. He is also the Chairman of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Board of Education. This responsibility has been entrusted to him considering his experience in the party organization. After his appointment, Ajit Pawar congratulated him and instructed him to work for strengthening the party organization in the forthcoming municipal elections and conveying the party’s goals and policies to all.
