Solapur: Sangola MLA Shahajibapu Patil, along with former ministers Subhash Deshmukh and Vijay Kumar Patil from Solapur district, are in the running for the ministry post. Solapur district can get two cabinets and one minister of state. With that in mind, the MLAs have formed a front. Shahajibapu Patil is a supporter of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He is one of the Shiv Sena MLAs who revolted against Uddhav Thackeray. It is believed that he will get the fruits of his loyalty by supporting Shinde in this rebellion from the very beginning.
Former Co-operation Minister Subhash Deshmukh and former Minister Vijay Kumar Deshmukh may get a chance from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
