Parbhani : A tractor-jeep collided head-on with a vehicle and killed two persons on the spot near Erandeshwar on Zirophata Purna Road. Arjun Kale and Balasaheb Kale are the names of the two who died in the accident.
Arjun Kale and Balasaheb Kale were on their way to Zerophata from Erandeshwar village in Purna taluka of Parbhani to refuel their red rotavator tractor. Meanwhile, a speeding jeep from Zerofata to Purna H. 24 A.G. The vehicle 9071 collided head-on with the tractor. The accident was so severe that both the vehicles fell on the side of the road. Arjun Kale and Balasaheb Kale, who were sitting on the tractor, were crushed under the vehicle and died on the spot.
Hearing the sound of the accident, farmers, villagers and police Patil Znanoba Kakatkar rushed to the rescue. The incident was reported to the Purna police. Upon receiving the information, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Gawande, Police Inspector. Subhash Chandra Markad, Police Head Constable Sawant, Police Constable Sheikh Ahmed, Police Constable Mangesh Jukte rushed to the spot. The body has been sent to Parbhani for autopsy and the incident has been registered with the Purna police. Police are investigating further.
