1 lakh 66 thousand rupees were to be invested in Maharashtra through the joint venture of Vedanta Group and Foxconn. However, Vedanta Group clarified that it will set up this project in Gujarat. Due to this, Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray has thrown a round of accusations against the Shinde-Fadnavis government. BJP’s Mumbai President Ashish Shelar has now replied to it. Also, Shelar has taken the news of Aditya Thackeray by raising the question that when did the Vedanta project come to Maharashtra. Speaking in the hall, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde asked Shelar that it had been said that the Vedanta project would take place in the state. “The project will be done in Maharashtra. However, Aditya Thackeray is lying and telling people that the project that came to the state has gone. Eknath Shinde informed that the Vedanta project is coming. Anil Agarwal, President of Vedanta Group, tweeted that we are bringing related projects to Maharashtra. But, how did Aditya Thackeray invented penguins,” Shelar has asked.

Ashish Shelar said that “the evidence of the concession given by the Thackeray government to the Vedanta group should be shown. Or show the picture of Bhoomipujan, foundation filling. The agreement has not even been signed, what is Shiv Sena’s search for the project has gone.”

“To be inquired into by a retired judge…”

Aditya Thackeray said we are not capable. If you are capable, show why not by bringing a project. “Of course we will bring the project. It’s been two months today, you are crying so much. An accounting of two and a half years of Mahavikas Aghadi should be demanded. Ashish Shelar has also said that Chief Minister Shinde has demanded an inquiry through a retired judge as to how many people were discussed with, how many projects were started, how many projects were laid, how many projects were commission transactions.
