Opportunity for citizens to buy MHADA houses in Pimpri and Saswad on the occasion of Dussehra
Pimpri: MHADA’s Pune Mandal will have flats and shops for sale at Sant Tukaram Nagar and Saswad in Pimpri in the coming year and its advertisement will go on till Dussehra. Therefore, those who are interested will get an opportunity to buy MHADA houses. MHADA has started a big project on the site at Sant Tukaram Nagar in Pimpri. A total of 73 flats and 40 shops will be constructed in it. The flats and shops in this project will be available for purchase by middle income group and high income group citizens. For this, advertisement will be issued from Dussehra to Diwali. The Rera registration process for the project is currently underway and will be completed within a month, said MHADA Executive Engineer Anant Khedkar.
The project at Saswad will have 43 flats and 14 shops. Work on the project has just begun and is expected to take more than a year to complete. Khedkar said that Rera registration of this project is also underway. He explained that the project was for the low-income group only. Advertisements for both the projects will be released only after Rera registration. Under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, the central government has approved to develop the building on private land and sell 50 per cent of the flats at MHADA rates. 3 thousand 747 flats will be available in Pune and Pimpri. This will provide various tax reliefs and FSI to the builders.
This option has been chosen as MHADA does not have space available in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal limits. Accordingly, 14 proposals have been received. These flats will be constructed at Khadakwasla, Charholi, Ghotawade, Dhanori, Dhayari Wadgaon, Gujar Nimbalkarwadi, Wagholi. Khedkar said that the proposals here have also been approved.
