Pune: The Housing and Regional Development Authority (MHADA) will soon announce the release of 4,744 houses online for the citizens of Pune division. An advertisement in this regard will be published in the next few days, after which those who are interested will be able to fill the application. Houses from Pune, Pimpri, Chinchwad, Tathawade, Kolhapur and Solapur are included in the draw.
This is the tenth drop of MHADA of Pune division in the last few years. This is the fourth eviction by MHADA in the last two years and the first eviction this year. About 4,744 houses in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Solapur and Kolhapur in Pune division will be vacated online soon. After publishing the advertisement, the aspirants will be able to apply for the houses. After the advertisement is published, the application can be filled within a month, ‘said MHADA Chief Officer Nitin Mane Patil.
In Mumbai, MHADA will evacuate 3,000 houses on Diwali
State Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad visited the MHADA project at Pahadi Goregaon, Mumbai and inspected the work in progress. He said that soon these works will be completed and these flats will be open for distribution to the citizens. All the senior officers of MHADA were present on this occasion. He informed that 3000 houses will be evacuated on Diwali.
MHADA will set up a township on 200 acres in Ambernath
MHADA will set up the largest township in the state in the city of Ambernath. For this, 200 acres of land adjacent to Chikhloli Dam was surveyed by MHADA officials today. Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad has given information in this regard.
The population of Mumbai suburbs is currently growing rapidly. However, the increase in population is not conducive to Mumbai. At present there are vacancies beyond Dombivali, i.e. only in Ambernath and Badlapur. Therefore, MHADA will set up a mega township in this area, said Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad.
