Waghere Family Upholds Legacy of Values and Service: Former MLA Vilas Lande
Pimpri-Chinchwad Samaj Bhushan Award Conferred Upon H.B.P. Dattatray Kudale

Pimpri-Chinchwad: Former Mayor the late Bhikhu Waghere-Patil played a significant role in the development of Pimpri-Chinchwad city. Remembering his contribution, former MLA Vilas Lande said that Waghere-Patil, a former Sarpanch of Pimpri-Waghere village, was an exemplary personality, and the best tribute to him is to keep his legacy of values and service alive. Lande was speaking on the occasion of the 39th death anniversary of the late Bhikhu Waghere-Patil.
To mark the occasion, a floral tribute was offered to the full-size statue of the late Waghere-Patil by former MLA Vilas Lande. The program was attended by MLA Mahesh Landge, former MLA Adv. Gautam Chabukswar, event coordinator and former Mayor Sanjog Waghere-Patil, Sumantai Pawale, Mai Kate, Usha Waghere-Patil, former corporators Nana Kate, Raju Misal, Dabbu Aswani, Nikita Kadam, Ranganath Kudale, former Deputy Mayor Prabhakar Waghere, Dattatray Waghere, Santosh Kudale, Narhari Kapse, advisor Anna Kapse, secretary Balasaheb Waghere, treasurer Kisan Waghere, Ramesh Golande, Bipin Nanekar, Ankush Waghere, Jaywant Shinde, and Santosh Waghere, among others. The event was organized by the Late Bhikhu Waghere-Patil Foundation and the residents of Pimpri-Waghere.
On this occasion, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Samaj Bhushan Award was presented to H.B.P. Dattatray Kudale in recognition of his outstanding contributions to society.
Former Mayor Sanjog Waghere-Patil stated that the Late Bhikhu Waghere-Patil Foundation has been actively supporting underprivileged students and organizing various competitions and training camps aimed at empowering women.
The program was efficiently hosted and concluded with a vote of thanks by the foundation’s secretary, Yogesh Kondhalkar.
