PCMC: Development works in the city need time-bound planning!

Pimpri : Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is under administrative rule and this calls for the administration to fix a time-bound program to provide infrastructure facilities to the citizens. Development works can be accelerated through such program. BJP city president Shankar Jagtap suggested that projects should be launched from a positive approach in terms of the overall development of the city.

BJP City President Shankar Jagtap along with Commissioner and Administrator of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Shekhar Singh inspected various proposed development works in Navi Sangvi area. During which, the development works in Sangvi, Navi Sangvi, Pimple Gurav etc. were reviewed.

Former Mayor Mai Dhore, former standing committee chairman Rajendra Rajapure, former corporator Sagar Angolkar, Harshal Dhore, Usha Munde, Ambernath Kamble, Santosh Kamble, Sharda Sonawane, Shri Ganesh Sahakari Bank director Sanjay Jagtap, former senate member Santosh Dhore, BJP city secretary Hiren Sonawane, social activist Jawahar Dhore along with local citizens were present for this inspection tour.

This time a discussion occurred regarding the bridge in Sangvi leading to Bopodi, Aundh via Sangamnagar, Mamatanagar. Agriculture Department has some technical issues regarding this bridge, which will be sorted out soon. Similarly, issues related to 12-meter road at Madhuban Society Galli No. 1 to 9, 20-meter road at Krishna Chowk in Navi Sangvi and Ramnagar-Yamuna Society, Mayur Nagri neighborhood were also discussed and decided to accelerate the same.

Shankar Jagtap said that, we are pursuing with a positive attitude with the administration so that infrastructure facilities are available to the citizens efficiently. We keep on insisting for highly qualitative facilities should be provided to the citizens. We expect the administration to create basic facilities by considering at least the period of next 50 years.

Considering increasing urbanization and traffic problems of the city, municipal administration should take up the works of the proposed roads and bridges over the river immediately. Likewise, initiatives should be taken to provide alternative roads for the main roads. From this point of view, there was a positive discussion with Administrative Head Shekhar Singh. The proposed works will definitely be accelerated in near future.
