“Following Atalji’s Thoughts is the True Tribute” – MLA Shankar Jagtap

Pimpri Chinchwad | Bharat Ratna late Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s powerful thoughts and inspiring personality have ignited a sense of national pride in the hearts of millions of Indians. On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of India’s former Prime Minister and senior BJP leader, the revered Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a floral tribute was offered to his portrait at the Pimpri BJP central office. Jagtap was speaking while paying his respects.

Shankar Jagtap further said that every year on December 25, the nation celebrates Good Governance Day in honor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In 2015, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was conferred with the Bharat Ratna. After this, the Modi government declared that Vajpayee’s birth anniversary would be celebrated as Good Governance Day. The main aim of celebrating this day is to raise awareness among citizens, especially students, about the transparency and responsibility of the government. Its goal is to encourage good administrative practices and citizen participation, he added.
