Parbhani: A married woman from Sakhartala in Jintur taluka has been tortured. Threatening to kill her, the woman was called to the back of the Zilla Parishad school in the village. A case has been registered against accused Pramod Thackeray at Jintur police station in this regard.
According to police, a 27-year-old married woman from Sakhartala had met Pramod Thackeray during the Gram Panchayat elections. Thackeray used to come home frequently as he was related. In March 2022, Pramod Thackeray said that this is an important task for the married woman. Called behind the school. Taking advantage of the fact that no one was around, he grabbed her by the hand and forcibly dragged her into the field and tortured her.
Meanwhile, on April 20, the accused again forcibly tortured the victim. He also threatened to kill anyone who told him about it. Finally, the married woman lodged a complaint at Jintur police station and a case has been registered against Pramod Thackeray under sections 376 (2) (n) 323 and 506 of the Penal Code.
