Police in Dhule on Thursday seized 90 swords (Nanded Police Seized 25 Swords). Police took action in Nanded today, the very next day. 25 swords were seized during the operation. Police seized 25 swords from a rickshaw. Police have arrested one person in the case.
The swords were being carried in a rickshaw. All these 25 swords were seized by Nanded police. One accused has also been arrested by the police. The action was taken by the crime investigation team of Shivajinagar police station. Police had received information that arms were being taken in a rickshaw from Gokulnagar area of the city. Based on this secret information, the police took immediate action and investigated the rickshaw. Then 25 swords were found in the autorickshaw.
Police have arrested Akash Gotakwad in the case. He has confessed to bringing swords for sale. The accused said that the sword was brought to Nanded by parcel from Amritsar in Punjab. Who else is involved? Police are investigating.
