2 companies burnt down in Ambernath Mill fire

Mumbai : Two companies caught fire in Ambernath East on Wednesday midnight. Both the companies were gutted in the blaze and the cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained. Behind Anand Sagar Resort in Palegaon area of ​​Ambernath are companies called Elco Paint and Bombay Hygiene. Of these, oil paint is manufactured by Elco Paint Company and cleaning materials are manufactured by Bombay Hygiene Company. Meanwhile, the two companies had caught fire around 12 on Wednesday night.

Both companies burn in the fire

This time the drums in the company started exploding. Upon receiving information about the fire, 7 vehicles of Ambernath MIDC Fire Brigade including Ambernath, Ulhasnagar, Badlapur rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after 3 hours. Although no one was injured in the blaze, both companies were gutted in the blaze. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Flammable materials in the warehouse caused the fire

No casualties were reported as it was night time and no one was in the warehouse, said Yashwant Nalawade, a firefighter at the industrial estate. The fire was caused by flammable substances in the warehouses. So it took time to put out the fire. However, locals said that both the companies were gutted in the fire.

Massive fire at scrap warehouses in Mankhurd

Meanwhile, in another incident, a huge fire broke out at a scrap warehouse in Mankhurd, Mandala area around 10 am on Thursday, destroying 8 to 10 warehouses. No one was injured in the blaze. However, burning of godowns and their equipment has caused huge financial loss. Occasional fires at scrap warehouses and huts in Mankhurd, Mandala. The fire broke out in a slum at 20 Feet Road, Matang Nagar on Thursday morning.
