Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly Ajit Pawar has demanded that wet drought should be declared in Maharashtra. In this regard, Ajit Pawar has sent a letter to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. In this letter, Ajit Pawar has demanded that the state government should hold a monsoon session to discuss the farmers’ issues. The opposition boycotted the tea party organized by the government on the eve of the monsoon session of the state legislature. On this occasion, Leader of Opposition Ajitdada Pawar presented his position. The opposition has also started demanding that substantial help should be given to the farmers by declaring a wet drought in the state.

Farmers’ crops and seeds have been washed away due to heavy rains in the past few days. Also, more than 100 people have died in the state so far due to heavy rains. Therefore, in this situation, Ajit Dad has demanded that the government should declare wet drought in the state. In this regard, Ajit Pawar held a press conference today and clarified his position. So now we have to see what stand Chief Minister Eknath Shinde takes on this.
