Dhananjay Munde Meets Chief Minister Fadnavis; Sparks Speculation

Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has called for a meeting at Sahyadri Guest House today (December 30) to outline a 100-day roadmap. During this meeting, he is expected to review six key departments: Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation, Cultural Affairs, Rural Development, Food and Civil Supplies, and Textiles. Meanwhile, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Dhananjay Munde met the Chief Minister, fueling speculation.
Munde, who is embroiled in controversy due to his close associate, Walmik Karad, being named as the mastermind in the murder of Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, is facing allegations from various quarters. Following the murder case, political parties in Beed organized a large protest demanding the resignation of Munde and Karad. This meeting with the Chief Minister has raised further questions.
While Karad has not been named in the Deshmukh murder case, he is an accused in a separate extortion case related to the wind energy project by Aavada Energy. Since the filing of the case, Karad has been on the run, and the investigation is now being handled by the CID. In connection with this case, Karad’s wife, Manjili Karad, was detained by the police for questioning today (Sunday).
