42 Ministers, including 16 Marathas and 17 OBCs, Given Equal Representation in Fadnavis’ New Cabinet

Mumbai: The new state cabinet has ensured equal representation for the Maratha and OBC communities. Out of the 42 ministers, 16 belong to the Maratha community, and 17 belong to various OBC castes. Along with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the cabinet includes two ministers from the Brahmin community, two from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), one from the Muslim community, and one from the Jain community. Among the OBCs, two belong to the Mali community, three to the Kunbi community, two to the Banjara community, and three to the Vanjari community.
