Inspection of the Moshi Solid Waste Management Project

Waste-to-Energy project, Hotel Waste-to-Bio-Gas, and the Radaroda Management Center.

PCMC:-Kailas Shinde, Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, and Shirish Aradwad, City Engineer, recently visited various projects under the solid waste management initiative of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) in Moshi. During the visit, they gathered information from PCMC Commissioner regarding the technical aspects of projects such as the Waste-to-Energy project, Hotel

Sanjay Kulkarni, Chief Engineer of PCMC, provided a detailed presentation on the collection and processing of solid waste, including construction debris, which is being managed by the municipal corporation. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner congratulated PCMC for successfully establishing and operating these projects. They also gathered information on the sustainable and environmentally friendly processes being followed by PCMC to manage all types of solid waste generated in the city.

The projects are based on eco-friendly and state-of-the-art concepts, and PCMC’s efforts to overcome various challenges during their implementation were appreciated. Shirish Aradwad, City Engineer of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Executive Engineer Rajesh Pawar, Sub-Engineer Jitendra Rawal, and Yogesh Alhat, Sub-Engineer from PCMC, were also present during the inspection.
